Happy Mother's Day!

 Had a rainy glum day in Atlanta, but headed out to Lake Altoona for MD lunch at Em and Jeff's sailing club!  Very fun!  Even in the rain.  :)

All together!  We were joined by Uncle John (Carolyn's brother) in town for the weekend.

A Day for Kits

Well, hello spring!  this cold front has moved through and given us a spring--wind and rain!  It IS totally appropriate.  Tyler and Amber are having a "kite" party on May 5th to celebrate their birthdays, so Ryan decided to teach them what a kite WAS!!!  :) kind of funny...but really...it will make them happy to know what their "theme" is all about. 

We had a great time on this blustery weekend.  Took them to the highschool football field behind our neighborhood and flew our new kites.  now they will be USED party decor! ha ha.

Had a beautiful service at Buckhead church, came home for simple lunch, tried to take more family pictures, than just resorted to playing bubbles until Amber's nap!

Tyler was invited to participate in an egg hunt with the Jackson's grandsons Wyeth and Eli.  They hid eggs for him, then we hid the eggs for them!  it was really sweet to get to participate in a little Easter with our great neighbors!

Tyler took a short nap--then we just played the rest of the day.  outside in this beautiful weather! 

Easter at home...

With so many activities spread out this year, Easter has been a long holiday!

Tyler made a "bunny cake" that we ate on Friday with the Duwels.  It's been wonderful to eat outside each night and really enjoy the season. 

We had a gathering with our small group couples and families for a grill out and egg hunt.  We will probably not hunt eggs tomorrow.  Just enjoy going to church and coming home to Easter baskets!

Tyler had the most fun "wrestling" on the trampoline.  He may be black and blue tomorrow from trying to take down the big boys...but he had fun.  he has no idea that he's only ABOUT to be 3.
